An old language spoken by young people

An old language spoken by young people

Many people believe that digital communication has increased nowadays. This opinion could be ruled out, if the majority of people you see on the street or in a cafe were not holding a mobile device, pressing the screen or the buttons crazily. Furthermore, many are the studies that demonstrate how the internet and digital devices have become an integral part of our everyday lives.
This phenomenon is more visible among young people who can hardly be separated from their mobile phones. Typing messages with abbreviations and acronyms to write more, in less time, young people cause problems to their own language; problems such as incorrect spelling of words or absence of punctuation. Moreover, a large number of words they use are foreign. Gradually, this phenomenon can lead to the deterioration or even the disappearance of our language, thus destroying a centuries-old culture.
But for every problem there is a solution. Why lose that language?! We, young people, being the future of this country and the successors of our language, must do as much as we can about it. The world won't be destroyed if you waste a little more time, writing a message with the correct spelling or limiting the acronyms and abbreviations. What if we put down the devices and we start communicating face to face; perhaps this is the solution.
There are many ways to deal with new situations. Why not help to pass on a rich and correct language. We, young people, are the heirs of a magnificent civilization. We should use the modern technological means to communicate the values and masterpieces of this civilization and we should do it in our own ancient language.
